I don't know where to start to say what a very special friend you have always been to me over the many years we have known eachother and how much I will miss you. I still remember meeting you when I worked in Endoscopy at King's Mill. You were such a hard working but fun member of the team and we soon became friends. Here are some of my treasured memories of you that will always make me smile. Our many visits to beer festivals at Norwich, Nottingham and Sherringham. Enjoying a pint of Honey or Elsie Mo. Your lovely home made prawn risotto and Hairy Bikers breakfasts. Your fondness for the latest Pampered Chef and Joseph and Joseph utensils. Proudly showing me your latest bargain buys from Bid Up and Price Drop. I don't think the tiny deep fat fryer was your best purchase though. Your ever growing jewellery collection, particularly necklaces and watches. I had to buy you an additional jewellery tree for the overflow. The lovely home you made and how proud you were of the new conservatory and kitchen. Showing me your new cruise wear and telling me about your latest Gold weekend, cruise or trip to Vegas. Proudly showing us around Norwich before a trip to Jarrolds for a cheese scone or a visit to one of its many great pubs. You took some persuading to go in the Belgian Monk though. The many weekend you visited us or we came to you, eating drinking and just generally enjoying the company. Seeing the fantastic Brian Ferry in concert. The New Year you spent with us in Mudesley and how kind and patient you were with our parents. They still speak so fondly of you. Our almost weekly phone calls which always started with "Hello darling" and ended with "Love you" We talked about anything and everything, you were always there for me. You leave a huge hole in so many lives but I am so glad you were in mine. Xxx
